Roman Gate is a speculative mixed use commercial and residential development scheme completed in March 2017, comprising 6 new build commercial units and 6 first floor self-contained apartments (1 x 1-bed & 5 x 2-bed), located in Great Denham, Bedford. The overall Great Denham village development will create circa 1500 new homes upon completion and is situated 4.5 miles west of Bedford, and 16 miles north east of Milton Keynes. The estate is located off the A428 which connects to the A421, southern Bedford bypass, which is within a 10 minute drive. 

The commercial element was finished to shell and core specification with individual units ranging in size from 801.6 sq ft to 1260.7 sq ft for A1 / A2 / A3/ D1 and D2 uses. All the retail units bar one were let prior to Practical Completion.

The apartments were finished to a very high standard throughout and ranged in size from 484.3 sq m (1 bed) to 818 sq ft, with all apartments sold as of July 2019.

Stimpsons Eves Chartered Surveyors and latterly Patrick Punch & Co were sole letting agents for the retail element and Compass New Homes are the appointed sole selling agents for the apartments. The fully-let freehold investment was sold in March 2019 to Jackson Bedford Limited, a local construction company.
